You know life can be rough sometimes. Every day you're dealing with things like parents, school stuff, your burger-making job that makes you smell like grease 24/7, and your significant other who you think has their eye on someone else.

As if all that wasn't enough, you're also trying to figure out the big ideas of life. Who am I/ Why am I here? What am I supposed to do with my life? Is God real? Does He care about me? Where will I go to college? Who am I going to marry? And, of course...will they be hot?

Well, we may not have the answers to all of these important questions, but we've got some good thoughts on how to go about finding them. The Bible is a pretty sweet place to start.

Truth is, life is much more than just figuring out how to deal with problems. You've got some great stuff ahead of you. You can be a leader in your generation and get some great work done. Again, the Bible is a great place to start to figure it all out.

You see, every single one of us has a purpose in life. No one is an accident. No one is excluded. At Elevate we're doing everything we can to figure out what that purpose is for each of us and then learn how to fulfill it. You can't do that alone. That's why we all get together each week. We're here to help you get to that next level in life and not having to deal with the junk you had to deal with yesterday.

Come check it out. There's a reason you are on this earth. Find out what it is. Are you who you want to be? You can be.

So wait for the movie to hit DVD, put down that Monster (you're excitable enough as it is), and take a picture of the sunset on the beach (it'll last longer), and get yourself over to ELEVATE. We're waiting for you.

If you have any questions, call us or talk to us on Facebook. If you don't have a phone, come on it's the 21st century, you can find one somewhere. (Hint: look under that huge pile of clothes right by your bed.)

ELEVATE meets Wednesday nights from 6 to 9 p.m. for those in grades 6-12.
We're located at the Student Ministries Center (formerly known as the Uturn Cafe), at 9955 Church Street, Bridgman.
